Policies

To maintain a comfortable and secure environment for your dog, we have established the following policies:

ALL DOGS must go through a Trial/Behavior assessment before further scheduling of services. If it is determined following the assessment that it isn't a good fit, there is no service fee charge.

Rainy Weather:

a. We will continue with our dog walking services in light rain, as long as it does not pose a risk to the safety and health of your dog or our dog walkers.

b. Our dog walkers will ensure that your dog is appropriately protected with a waterproof leash and, if necessary, a raincoat to keep them dry.

Extreme Weather Conditions:

a. In the event of severe weather conditions such as heavy rainstorms, thunderstorms, extreme heat, or extreme cold, we prioritize the safety and well-being of your dog and our dog walkers.

b. In such cases, we may modify the duration or intensity of the walk, seek shelter during the walk, or reschedule the walk for a later time or date.

Heat and Cold Weather:

a. During hot weather, we take extra precautions to prevent overheating and dehydration in your dog. We adjust the walking route to include shaded areas, provide frequent water breaks, and avoid walking during the hottest part of the day.

b. Similarly, during cold weather, we protect your dog from exposure to low temperatures, icy surfaces, and harsh winds. We may shorten the duration of the walk or utilize protective clothing such as jackets or booties, if necessary.

Communication:

a. If weather conditions prevent us from conducting a safe and enjoyable dog walking session, we will notify you as soon as possible to discuss alternative arrangements.

Play Group Safety and Security:

For the safety and security of all dogs under our care, we do NOT allow visitors at our field location. This policy is implemented as visitors can be very distracting to both dogs and humans and we need to provide our full attention to the dogs.

 -ALL PLAY GROUP/VISIT CANCELLATIONS must be made 24 hours in advance to scheduled services or will be charged 50% of scheduled service fee. Cancellations made within 1- hour of scheduled services will be charged 100% of service fees.

-OVERNIGHT CANCELLATIONS must be made 1 week prior to scheduled Start date of the overnight, less than 1-week notice will be charged the equal amount of the first night of the overnight. 

-OVERNIGHT dates are fully locked in 3 days prior to the overnight start date, cancellations made within 3 days before overnight will be charged for the full overnight stay(s).

Emergency Situations:

a. In the event of an unforeseen emergency that prevents you from providing the specified advance notice for a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the situation. We will handle such cases on an individual basis with understanding and flexibility.

Rescheduling:

  a.  We are committed to maintaining open lines of communication and will work with you to reschedule missed walks or adjust our services to accommodate changing weather conditions.

b. If you need to reschedule a boarding reservation or dog walking session, we will make every effort to accommodate your request based on our availability.

c. Please note that rescheduling may be subject to availability and may incur additional charges or adjustments to the original booking fees.

No-Show Policy:

a. Failure to notify us of a cancellation and not showing up for a scheduled boarding reservation or dog walking session will be considered a "no-show."

b. No-shows may be subject to charges equivalent to the full cost of the booked service.

Overnight Boarding Trial

This services Trial consists of a 1-night overnight boarding at our provider's home. In order to maintain our safe, fun and comfortable environment for all dogs, this is a required and necessary Trial to move forward with further scheduling. All Boarding Trials will be followed up with a report card. 

Play Group/Visit Trials

Our Play Group/Visit Trials are necessary for us to get to know your pups needs and tendencies so we can perfectly accommodate to them during our services (example: if your dog is leash aggressive, we can determine which service is best for them and customize their services)

Following All Trials

Following all services trials, your walker/overnight provider will provide you with a detailed report on how your beloved pup did and what the next steps going forward will be.

All Weekend Requests will be limited to 40 minutes of walk /visit requests. We do not offer Play groups on Saturdays. And will be subjected to our Weekend service rates. All "after operation hours" requests are set at $40 base rate. (Overnight Boarding pick up and drop off services will not be affected by this policy nor receive the additional charges as stated in our "Pricing" menu for weekend requests)

Clients are more than welcomed to request multiple services in a day, with additional charges applied per scheduled request.

We understand that emergencies can occur at any time, if you are making weekend requests due to an emergency, please inform us within the request and we will accommodate as necessary.
